Reason why I hate cats. They’re so scary.
THE BABY SMACKED THE CAT WHY ARE YOU BLAMING THE ANIMAL
All the fucking time. People have their pets euthanized because they did something to their kid who fucking hit them or pulled on their tail or got in their face or something. Here’s a better idea: WATCH YOUR FUCKING KID WHEN THEY’RE AROUND ANIMALS. Okay thanks.
But this? Well, that’s how kids learn, isn’t it?
they do bad shit, they get bad shit happening right back.
I’ll bet that little brat won’t touch the cat again right?
and OP is a fucking prick for trying to blame the cat for defending itself when the kid SMACKED THE CAT IN THE HEAD.
That shit HURTS for a little cat. I’d lash back too.
When I was little I used to pull the tail of my grandmas cat… and one time she just smacked me reaaaally hard in the face. And I ran screaming to my mum and she just said I had hurt the cat and I should never do that again because an animal is also a living creature and I wouldn’t want it to pull my hair without a reason too. So I never did that again…
When I was a toddler I nearly* got bit right in the face by a very large dog. I was not supposed to go near the dog. I was not supposed to provoke the dog. I was a little shit and entered the fenced yard and provoked and repeatedly poked the large unknown dog. My parents taught me right then and there that I was the one at fault.
(*I’m guessing the dog just snapped at my face and didn’t make contact, because I have no recollection of the event or any scars, but I know I learned a lesson that day in that things could have been a hell of a lot worse and that is why I so strongly believe in natural selection.)
babies/toddlers/young children are very scary to animals. they are unpredictable and don’t understand when they are hurting an animal.
i was bitten twice by dogs as a kid, once in the face and it tore up my nose and you know what my family did? kept the dog and told me i learned my lesson.
pshaw, I wholeheartedly agree, however never trust birds. those little shits attack for no reason. One bit me on the cheek when I was maybe 10 for walking into a room.
seriously jealousy is the worst emotion
you’re not only really sad but you’re really annoyed and helpless at the same time
and you feel pathetic like you’re ruining people’s fun but don’t want to be left out so you just sit around quietly annoyed
finding nemo was not very good

there are two types of people
this is all the same person
when I was shopping today with my mom, we ran into one of her ex-coworkers and he introduced himself and shook my hand and was really friendly
and he and mom talked for a bit, and then after he walked away, my mom said
”He got fired because he killed three people.”
and I was kinda spooked for like the next 5 minutes until I remembered my mom is a surgeon
“You’ve sort of made up for it tonight,’ said Harry. ‘Getting the sword. Finishing off the Horcux. Saving my life.’
'That makes me sound a lot cooler than I was,' Ron mumbled.
i will never forget this one HP theory i read back in the day right after GoF was published called “weasley is our king.”
it pointed out all of the instances in which the person writing it thought that ron was in fact dumbledore and he had used a time turner far from now to go back in time and help fight voldemort.
it was a thorough thing at the time and i still sigh sometimes, thinking it would have been such a beautiful thing.
my english teacher accused me of plagiarizing an essay i wrote about my own life
Alright, here’s something funny. These boys in my hall went outside in their undies to take some photos in the snow. Funny, right? They’re trying to get attention and it’s hilarious. Us ladies choose to do the same, we are wearing more clothing, and are doing the exact same poses. We are wearing as much clothing as is acceptable at the pool or the beach, at the gym, etc.
There is a serious double standard here— us girls have gotten responses like:
"What’s the point of being half naked?"
"*ahem* sluts *ahem*"
"What’s wrong with you females?"
Or worse, what my mother said. Her initial shock was apparently because she thought I was in my underwear, but when I told her I was in a swimsuit, she was suddenly happy I was having fun in college.
The idea here is that we are doing the same thing. When arguing this point with one of my hallmates, he said “But men’s bodies aren’t built the same, you don’t see girls getting pumped up over a topless guy, but how many guys do you think are gonna get all crazy over a topless girl?” Seriously? Really? Women don’t need to dress in order to avoid a reaction from men. You’re mad because you can’t control yourself? Men can pose in their undies in the snow without an issue because women aren’t going to go wild over it? Keep it in your pants, that’s your responsibility, not ours.
The double standards are killin’ me.
"Keep it in your pants, that’s your responsibility, not ours." Is literally one of the best quotes I’ve ever heard. Thank you.
CAN I GET A HELL YEAH IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU’RE DOING WITH YOUR LIFE AND YOU DON’T GET ENOUGH SLEEP
